Article

The April / May issue of Scrapbook Retialer is out and I was lucky enough to be asked for an article about "Luring Men into scrapbooking." I posted it in pdf form here if you want to read it. It's in print resolution ( about 1 meg ) so it will take a little bit to download if you don't have broadband. Maybe a good time to start it and go get some coffee...

Perfectly put. Guaranteed to get a multitude of ladies to try to get their husbands to scrapbook. I know my husband gets into it if I mention scrapbooking hunting.

I can say for sure that when I made a hunting book for my father-in-law he was so impressed and excited that he talked about it all the time. So you are definitely right about trying to appeal to men on their turf. Hunting, fishing, sports, bikes, cars, etc. :)

Atually I was tacticlly stalling because I've been swamped with deadlines and waiting for an article to come out in the Wall Street Journal. I wanted people who read the article to hit the blog and see that additional article in Scrapbook Retailer. ;0)

So yeah, there's an article in the Wall Street Journal today about men starting to scrapbook and after almost an hours worth of interview I was able to get a couple paragraphs in print. How cool is that?

It's all about the grass roots promotion as an indie documentary guy... I'll post something today about it.

How are you guys doing?

Oh, yes. The house goes on the market Monday ( after Easter, spring break and the Parade of Homes is all finally over here in the Twin Cities. ) You can see some pics I took for the realtor to choose from here: http://whiteknucklemedia.com/house/ Some are redundant... just exposure variations.

I can safely say I'm the only guy on the market here in fly over land with a computer network in his garage.

i see your trying to snitch a slice of paradise eh?(Queensland)...well mate who can bloody blame you. I will tell you whatever i can about Nth Queensland, just email me or visit my blog....i tell you what i have been floating about NQ for the last 10 million years ....and it is the hot diggity dog of locations...you have it all, dry bush, wet rain forests, mist cold highlands, the oceans, and it has not been all smacked with civilization....what ever your manly interest may be , you can have it. you can have the fishing hiking hunting, and just as a matter of interest, there is a not tie policy from townsville up....this means if your company's work uniform says you have to wear a tie in the dress codes it was voted some years ago that NQ workers could be exempt from that dress code....lol...a bit of useless trivia for ya mate.....do you like fishing for barra??? hubby said he will line you up for a trip if you bloody ever get here!
